Hi!!  I think I saw you, Steve, with your two kids on the triple at the Katy Flatland.  I was the one in the middle of the street with the helmet on trying to direct traffic near the start!!  My little red Air Friday was parked on the island curb.  I didn't see any other Fridays on the 45 mile route I took. 

 

I LOVE my Air Friday!!!!  Her name is Venture, and we have been to Yosemite, California, to the Moose Tour in Maine, and to the Canadian Rockies near Banff and Jasper, Alberta, Canada.  This Friday we return again to the Ice Fields parkway in the Canadian Rockies.  She and I have been through quite a lot in our two years together, including surviving being hit by a pick up truck from behind on my bike tour in Canada last year.  We are so very thrilled at how well the bike held up.  I sent it back to BF in Oregon to be assessed for bent frame, cracks, etc.  All they had to do was replace my badly egg shapped rear wheel, and straighten the right shifter that got knocked off center!!  (I, on the other hand, did not fare so well, but I healed!)

 

I live in Northwest Houston, near Cypress, off 290 and Telge.  Looking forward to meeting other Bike Friday owners.
