Let's enjoy some foliage and camaraderie from atop Pack Monadnock.
Water, lunch or snacks, good hiking shoes are important; but you may
leave the
bikes at home. But don't put them away as there is an interesting
Costume
(optional) Bike East Providence Bike Path bike ride planned for
Saturday, October29th.
The Inaugural leader of the Big Dig bike ride, Bill Redford, will
be sending me
details to post later this month. Save the date. It is the fifth
Saturday and will
take place in the afternoon to.................? Details later.
In the more imminent future is save the date of Saturday, October
8th with rain date of Sunday, October 9th.

View Southern New Hampshire from Mt. Pack (little) Monadnock



When: October 8, 2005 (rain date is October 9)



Meeting place: Miller State Park, Route 101 East, Peterborough, NH



Meeting time: 10:00 a.m.

Plan to begin the ascent at 10:30 a.m.



What to bring: Plenty of water and lunch to eat at the summit



What to wear: Good walking shoes for some steep climbs over rocks

Layered clothing to accommodate a possible
20-degree temperature range



If you are driving and want to meet at Anna's house in North Reading
at 8:00 a.m. to carpool (drive or ride), email or call Anna

7:30 a.m. Oct. 8, 617-909-0611.



If you need a ride, call Judy Nahas at 781-861-1425.



If you are meeting us at Miller State Park, call either one of us to
