First day of fall is officially this Thursday, September 22nd and it
is time to
use those bikes for some rides before first day of winter.
Next planned Bike Friday ride is this Saturday, September 24th.
It will take place through horse country in Wenham and Ipswich and
out to Great Neck
in Ipswich. Approximately 27 miles. It is a ride; not a race.
Helmets and water
are required in combination with a sense of humor for the
camaraderie.
Also, suggestion of bike lock in the event one chooses to stop for
coffee,
donuts, snacks, ice cream. (Also, maybe a swim or at least put your
toes in the water)
Some riders may come by train to Hamilton/Wenham station; therefore
we will plan to
start at 10:30. (the train arrives at 10:10 and leaves at 3:00pm.
ish.)
Date: Saturday: September 24, 2005
Time: Meet 10:00 a.m. (or 10:10 if via train)
Place: Hamilton/Wenham train station
Directions: Will send within next 24 hours.
Pace: Enjoyable.
All type of bikes (two wheeled; not tricycles or training wheels)
are welcome.
There are new riders that have expressed an interest in the
uniqueness of
these fast moving, easily transportable Bike Fridays; so if you have
one do
come and share what they are all about. Don't need to polish it;
just dust it off,
start pedaling and see what happens.
Hope to see you on Saturday. Please additional information below
