The Baggcyclist ride this month is:

Place: Plum Island Lighthouse Loop

This is flat terrain with gently rolling hills of approximately
22miles. Weather indicates humidity with temperatures ranging 88 to
93. Hopefully a cool breeze off the water will help keep the bugs
to a minimum. Sunscreen, bug spray as well as supply of water is
strongly encouraged. And it should be great photo opportunities.
Families and friends are welcome to join. It is a social ride with
some of us on Bike Friday's and other various intriguing bikes of
all sorts. We will meet at the Newburyport Commuter Rail Station.
Parking fee $2 may be in effect. Plan to meet at 8:30am. and enjoy a
leisure ride before the temperature and humidity maximizes and
before the sun/beach families get out their chairs. I am not sure
what the schedule is for this time of year for the
commuter/Amtrak/or buses to this area.

Although on bikes, there might be an additional fee for entering
the Wildlife Refuge area on Island Road. Recommend bringing a few
extra dollars with you.

Directions:

Via Interstate 128 to Interstate 95

Merge onto I-95 N via the ramp on the LEFT toward
SALISBURY/PORTSMOUTH NH.

Take the SCOTLAND RD exit- EXIT 56- toward NEWBURY/NEWBURYPORT.

Turn RIGHT to stay on PARKER ST. 0.2 miles Map
