Oops, sorry, you're right, wrong part of anatomy, then the Loreena
Bobbit surgery is even easier. Bit tough saw. Someone on the list is
bound to have one - Alvin's your man! Sounds like you got an extra
long seatpost you don't need. Call BF to talk rims - or someone in
the group might be selling some. Mine is 406 so can't help ( have a
M14A rim with Dura Ace rear hub and 11-34 cassette for sale,
languishing here...)

Chas, Lynette here. You must have the Air Friday with a hub. Before you do a Loreena Bobbit on it, a) it's there to hold an extra waterbottle and b) it's handy...

PS you can always swap or sell the seatpost with someone who wants a longer one. Visit Alvin's garage or use Craigslist.org in Austin....

Hi Chas, Cutting off the excess seatpost with a pipe cutter shouldn't be a problem. You'll probably want to leave an inch or so extended past the seatpost...
