We had 39 players on Halloween night, with 4 groups of 6 players and
2 groups of 7 players. Everyone played downstairs.

The group winners were:

Group 5: Alex Khatilov (+114 to 887)

* Next Friday Mike Labins will be running the tournament again.
* If you'd like to learn how to help run the tournament, please speak
to Mike or Jim. We still need 1 more person to step forward, or we
will only be able to play two or three times a month. It isn't that
hard, you just need to be trained on how to do it, and it doesn't
stop you from playing in the tournament. You should be good with
computers, and able to think quickly on your feet, but that's about
it in terms of requirements.
* If you'd be willing to be club president, or you have an idea of
someone that would be a good president, please speak to Mike.
* The Saturday program is going very well; the club is now open
7-10pm on Saturdays for training and open play.
