Dear Tabletenniser’s,

       On the eve before a large national tournament in Berkeley, We only attracted 62 players Two USTTA 2100 players from Texas came to practice against us Berkeley folk and found the waters a little rough. Bunny Lee swept division one convincingly with a 5-0 match record. Mark Ritter edged out the competition to gain sole lead in his 4-1 match record in division two.

We do not need to hear your life story and why you are late, just a clear and understandable mention of your name or names. We get sometime 20-30 messages and it is way too time consuming to retrieve them all!  

At the end of the night, People MUST put away their table…it only take 3-4 minutes and it makes it easy to close up at the end of the night. …..if we don’t get the equipment put away in a timely manner, then we could be charged more or even worse lose our venue! If we cannot do this in an honor system I’ll need to make assignments.

If you call this latecomer's number, please make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line and do not show up to play. Please spread the word, IF YOU ARE LATE OR WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOUR LATE MESSAGE >> YOU WILL NOT PLAY THAT NIGHT!
