Dear Tabletenniser’s,
We had a relatively light turnout of 58 players
on this past Friday eve but the competition was fierce and fun.
Bunny Lee left no survivors as he handily
captured Division One with a 5-0 match record.
,both achieving a 4-1 match record.
I need some more volunteers to help me with details of getting the tourney
running on time and smoothly…please talk with me if you can donate even ten
or fifteen minutes to do things like call the late-line reservation and
retrieve messages. Or collect money from people while I’m sorting names
to form the round robin draw.
IIf you want an on time start and want to keep me as your
tournament director, then I need more assistance. I do appreciate
what you wonderful volunteers already contribute! Thank-you.

Please report any errors
or omissions ASAP.I cannot change
the posted result but will make
the rating adjustments
If you
use the late call line to reserve your spot in our round robin, Please remember to keep your messages short.(under 30
seconds)
We do not
need to hear your life story and why you are late, just a clear and
understandable mention of your name or names. We get sometime 20-30 messages
and it is way too time consuming to retrieve them all!
At the end of the night, People MUST
put away their table…it only take 3-4 minutes and it makes it easy to close up at the
end of the night. …..if we don’t get the equipment put away in a
timely manner, then we could be charged more or even worse lose our venue! If
we cannot do this in an honor system I’ll need to make assignments.
PLEASE
DO NOT FORGET TO ARRIVE EARLY! REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 6:50 SHARP!
If you are planning to be late then call the Cell Phone Reservation Number: (510)
587-3388 before 6:35 PM. If you call this
latecomer's number, please
make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For
non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at
least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to
latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line
and do not show up to play.
