ANNOUNCING THE  BTTC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 19

On this special round robin event there will be 10 seven-player divisions.

All players MUST pre-register at least one full week before the tourney.. Oct 12 is the final sign-up deadline!!

Only the first seventy players who register will be allowed to play.. first come.. first play!!

Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place in each division (tie breaks may determine winner in some cases, Games won may be crucial in

determining  if you win a trophy, so all games are important..if games are equal then head to head result  is second tie break)

The winner of the top division ( THE CHAMPION!)will be awarded a special larger trophy that must be returned for next years rotating trophy winner.

We will have special starting times , pay attention to these details…the club will open at 5:45 for set-up  and warm-up and close at 10 :15 (last game at 9:55)so we will have a little extra time

The first Matches will begin at  6 :30 but I will allow a 6 :45  match starting time for three people in each division …(again first come first serve on a special late reservation) please I cannot have  too many late starters as we must finish in one night, if you cannot make arrangements to start early on one special night please skip this event!

Entry Fee $6 for adults $4 /16 and under

Sign –up early, I expect this event to fill up quickly, ratings from  October 12 results will be used. Sandbagging will be duly noted.

On some regular club business… a  blue butterfly  padded table tennis case was inadvertently taken this week, probably a mix-up and Peter Philips would like it back

Also in our lost and found,, several weeks ago a very nice pair of prescription glasses was left in a brown  hard shell case , someone left there paddle too..

Come talk to me

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO ARRIVE EARLY! REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 6:50 SHARP! If you are planning to be late then call the Cell Phone Reservation Number:  (510) 587-3388 before 6:35 PM. If you call this latecomer's number, please make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line and do not show up to play. Please spread the word, IF YOU ARE LATE OR WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOUR LATE MESSAGE >> YOU WILL NOT PLAY THAT NIGHT!  I will close the entries if we have 97 people, so please arrive early!!!

Regards Mike Labins
