    The mid- summer attendance bonanza didn’t materialize but we still had a hearty group of 68 competitors this week. The competition was stiff

And Avishy Schmidt won top honors and remained undefeated in Division One. Ganwah Lee hung on to capture Division Two with one loss.

There are only two weeks left in the summer and its still possible we will have large attendance  so please remember I cannot continue to be lenient in letting people sign up late (past the 6:50 deadline) or allow people to play who leave late messages that are undecipherable. Please spread the word, IF YOU ARE LATE OR WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOUR LATE MESSAGE >> YOU WILL NOT PLAY THAT NIGHT!  I will close the entries if we have 97 people, so please arrive early!!!

If you call this latecomer's number, please make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line and do not show up to play.
