Dear Tabletenniser’s,

   On a cool summer eve 74 participants enjoyed the BTTC’s round robin. Unfortunately I had to turn away two eager competitors as they arrived too late and did not call ahead.

Sorry but I expect large groups in the weeks ahead so please remember I cannot continue to be lenient in letting people sign up late (past the 6:50 deadline) or allow people to play who leave late messages that are undecipherable. Please spread the word, IF YOU ARE LATE OR WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOUR LATE MESSAGE >> YOU WILL NOT PLAY THAT NIGHT!  I will close the entries if we have 97 people, so please arrive early!!!

       Tonight Johnny Huang showed his earlier win in division one was no fluke and defeated all ,going 5-0…that included an upset victory over top raked Avishy Schmidt.

Second division was handily won by Sylvan Guo 5-0.

If you call this latecomer's number, please make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line and do not show up to play.
