  We had a very large group with 86 players and we encountered some time problems, please read on as I will get back to them…

A very IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT first… NEW LIABILITY WAIVERS are being printed for next week and all who want to play MUST SIGN them…

It’s just a formality but with such large groups of people, the BTTC should take precautions.

Ok now back to the large attendance issue…I cannot continue to be lenient in letting people sign up late (past the 6:50 deadline) or allow people to play who leave late messages that are undecipherable.

. Friday night we started late as I wanted to include everyone as I usually do and many matches were not finished.. Some people only got to play two matches. I’m sorry but the summertime looks like a large attendance shift and I’ll need to be strict. I will close entries completely if we ever reach 100, I am considering closing entries with fewer people but if people can co-operate and I can get some more volunteers we will be fine!

Please spread the word, IF YOU ARE LATE OR WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOUR LATE MESSAGE >> YOU WILL NOT PLAY THAT NIGHT! ( I may relax the time restrictions only if attendance ebbs somewhat, The U.S Open in Las Vegas is next week))

 

            Veteran Player, but newcomer to the BTTC, Shashin Shodhan defeated all of  division one’s competitors .Congrats…Tajima Masaki won on tiebreaker over Tomas Fuentes-Afflick in a tough division two….

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO ARRIVE EARLY! REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 6:50 SHARP! If you are planning to be late then call the Cell Phone Reservation Number:  (510) 587-3388 before 6:35 PM. If you call this latecomer's number, please make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line and do not show up to play.

 

 

I do have a fine group of core volunteers at present but we really need more! Please help out and donate a little of your time to help out the BTTC. The large groups of people we are attracting demands more time and effort to facilitate a fun and smoothly run operation. I need more people!!! Please ask how can you help?!!

 Remember I too am a volunteer and spend many hours each week for this club…..If you could devote 20 or 30 minutes… WOW that would be great!
