Sixty-Four players came to enjoy our friendly Round –Robin this week.

Parry Husbands edged out last weeks winner  Kung Wu on games won tie-break to win division one!

We had two players who called the late reservation line, left their name and did not show. I do not take kindly to this as

it is disruptive to the draw . Players who have arrived are denied a better spot: In the draw assignments tables that are seven could be a smooth running six…and a perfectly assigned six last night turned into a five player section. I promptly forfeited their matches and the rating point loss will stand. If people do this more than once I will rescind their privilege to use the Late Call Reservation Line.

   I wanted to thank people for chipping in last night as many volunteers helped in numerous ways. Please keep up the good work!

If you call this latecomer's number, please make sure to pronounce your first AND last name clearly. For non-native English speakers it is recommended to repeat their full name at least twice. We do not guarantee spots in our Round Robin tournament to latecomers who only left undecipherable messages or people who misuse this line and do not show up to play.
