Well, I'm technically still just a 'lurker'- I've subscribed to this
group, but haven't built my bent yet. I have, however, decided that
this is absolutely the LAST season I ride a 'wedgie' - and never
again! I've logged over 3,000 miles this season, around 150 miles a
week commuting to work, and in spite of some ugly weather here near
Chicago, I'm still rolling.
It's gotten better, but after sharing the ride one day with a fellow
on a Burley Sandpoint, and watching him ride easy while I battled a
headwind (I was in front), I decided enough was enough. Gotten tired
of the sore bum, tight ankles, numb hands and wrists, sore back, etc.
Next season, I'm riding in COMFORT!
