Well folks it seems this forum has been pretty quiet for months. So
what are you Bentec mob doing?
I've been busy riding mine a lot. Couple thousand km of great trouble
free riding. I saw on another forum that David has been getting quite
a bit of riding on his as well but have not managed to email him
sucessfully. David if you read this how about letting us know how you
are going. I enjoyed your reports on the Aus net.
I've also filled some time building a Tourezy look alike for a friend
who had all but given up riding due to problems with upright bike,
health and age. I'm pleased to say he's hardly been off it since he
got it. Maybe I should have made him a Bentech LWB but we just used
what we had ie his old road bike.
So that brings me to question one. What is the Bentec LWB like to
ride. Compare with SWB ?
Second question. I'm thinking of building a B'tec with the frame
coming straight through instead of angled down at the front as they
are now. Anyone like to comment on how it would go. Should give better
heel clearance at least. I've also been asked about using same size
wheels like some of the Bacchettas. I think though that might involve
some serious redesign.
Ok I've done my bit. So lets hear from some of you as to what you are
doing.
