The thimbles and swags are available from marine supply stores. A
member of the group has a more elegant bearing solution for the
front fork studs but I have been unable to get him to post pics.
There is some new UV resistant brake cable made from fibers that
looks prmomising too. They are called CordZ I believe. Good Luck!
