I've seen the pictures of that, and in fact am working off of those
pictures to try to make mine without a bend. I will put a smaller front
wheel on it, and that should lower the pedals slightly. How does the
lack of bend affect the ride? That was my only concern, but I was happy
to see that someone had done this. My biggest challenge right now is
figuring out what I need for a jig to be able to ensure proper
alignment.

Your feet will be higher but not a problem.
My 1st bike frame is for sale. It's a SWB and can be set up for USS
or OSS. It is powercoated yellow and I only used it for 1 year. You
can see pictures of it under Photos, AZ Biker Bob. Anyone can make an
offer.
