Wheel Size   Message List

I am really curious about wheel sizing.
I have been riding a 700c wheel on my upright frame for a few years
and have not seen any used on the Recumbents. I have seen 650's and
mountain wheels. Some with the 27in stuff. But none with 700's. Is
there a science to the selection to the wheels? Speed differances?
I was wondering about building my own SWB bike and was wondering about
selection. Maybe using the 700c wheels with Disk brakes, I want to use
it as a to/from work bike.

Thanks
Alan

This makes sense. Thanks for the response. I am still leaning towards the 700 wheels, only because I have them. I got rid of my 650's a while back. Has anyone...

Sure, you can use 700c wheels on a bent. Here are a few bents that use 700c wheels: http://www.easyracers.com/ordering.htm http://www.lightningbikes.com ...
