One thing I learned, the hard way of course, was to buy a decent quality
hole saw like Lenox and it must be run very slowly. I believe the
instructions say 350rpm max. My drill press only drops to 600rpm. I inquired
of other builders about this and they said it was fine, just move very
slowly down through the metal and have a constant light stream of oil
hitting the blade where it meets the metal. I use a small oil pump and
slowly squeeze the handle for this. A small trash can on the floor keeps the
oil contained nicely. I've used the same saws many times and they are still
in great shape.

Ed, I built mine "from scratch", Bentech wasn't selling kits back when I ordered the plans. You should order a set of plans from Bentech though, his plans...
