Hi Dave

Good to hear from you. I was wondering if you would be at Oshkosh this
year. My wife and I will be coming to Oshkosh via the Pietenpol gathering in
Brodhead and just before that the Popular Rotorcraft thing in Mentone, Indiana.
The bike is built, but I've not ridden it much this year yet, it seems like
every day I have something to do after work, side jobs and general around the
house stuff, and I have been getting to work a lot of saturdays this year also.
Last month I worked in Lake of the Ozarks for 3 wks and picked up an 18 spd
donor bike. I have changed most of the parts over, but monday night we had a
thunderstorm and my neighbors tree got hit by lightening and fell across the
fence and knocked down the powerline and phone and cable TV. So this week I had
to cut up the tree and rebuild the fence and next reconnect the electrical
stuff.
Got a seat off the internet from recycled recumbents to add on when it gets
here this coming week. Saw a picture of a pivoting handlebar setup using a stem
and the part of the handlebar that goes inside it and some mild steel plate. By
the way, not only did I copy your bike but I even got a maroon clamp for the
handlebar stem. Someone trashed a bmx bike and I picked it up.

It has been a long time....how is your bent bike
doing??? I have not heard anything on the yahoo group
about it. I still have mine as it was (no new paint
yet) and I am planning to go to Oshkosh again this
summer. Do you plan to go to Osh? I will bring my bent
bike again. Hope everything is going well.Send me an
update on the bike.
