These rods (and I have some in my posession) are a low temperature
alloy. They can be used with a regular garden variety propane torch.
The main thing is to use a stainless steel brush to scrub the
surfaces to be welded and possibly the rod as well, if it has been
sitting a while, to get rid of any surface oxidation.
