I would recommend using 4130 Chrom Moly steel. It has a high yield
strenth and be strong enough. If weight of the bike is not a problem
try 4130 and increase the wall thickness (on SWB design called for
0.049) say 0.058. That should give you a large safety factor. You
can order off the internet.

I want to build a lwb bike but I might be to heavy for it. Would black pipe be strong enough to make the fram out of? I weight about 270 pounds....
