Announcing the 11th Annual
HANEY-HARRISON 100 Km ULTRAMARATHON
Saturday November 3rd, 2007
Mark November 3rd, 2007 on your ultra-running calendars !! This will be the date of the 11th annual running of the HANEY TO HARRISON 100K ULTRAMARATHON. This event is scheduled to take place concurrently with the 26th annual running of the Haney to Harrison 100K Relay in British Columbia, Canada.
The course consists of paved highways following British Columbia's scenic Sasquatch Drive. Starting just outside of Vancouver in Maple Ridge, the course winds its way over rolling hills, passing through Mission and into the lush farmlands of the Fraser Valley enroute to the beautiful Harrison Hot Springs.

Start: Maple Ridge Legion, Haney, BC (one block from 224th Street and Dewdney Trunk Road
at corner of Brown Road and 224th Street)
Crew and Transportation: Each ultrarunner is required to provide his/her own crew and support vehicle for on-the-road aid and sustenance.
Finish: Harrison Hot Springs, BC
Post-race activities: The awards ceremony will be held following the race. It is expected that presentations will begin at 4:45 pm at the finish line.
Entry Form and Fees: The entry form will be available on the website later in the summer. This year online entry will be available. The entry fee will be $59 by October 23rd, 2007. Late entry $5 extra. Non BC Athletics members (or equivalent) add $3. Extra garments may be ordered additionally.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-the race is scheduled prior to the deadline for Western States qualification.
-there will be a strictly enforced cut-off at 4:00 p.m. at Exchange 7 (early start available on request for those concerned about the cut-off)
-each runner MUST provide his own aid and crew and be accompanied by a support vehicle
-weather in early November can be cold and wet
-although the entire race is on roads, there are some hills on the course particularly in the early stages. There is no net elevation gain.
