Runners World Magazine Featured Race - Capilano Canyon Night Run -   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1430 of 1537 |
I was out for a jog the other day and bumped into Rob Kelly, a fellow member
of the Capilano Eagles running club, out walking his dog. Rob was almost
busting out of his skin with excitement, "Did you know your night run is
featured in Runners World magazine as featured race?"

Actually, I didn't. Kuhl. Thx, Rob!!

See page 101 of the February 2007 edition of Runner World. Better yet, come
out this Saturday evening and join us.

Not sure why RW picked up on it? The Cap Canyon night run is a piddly
little 90-minute get-together of running friends and their friends with the
field limited to the number of people who can fit into our living room for
the post-run potluck party. It should be rainy, muddy and there are several
places along the route that were messed up by the recent wind storms where
you might get lost. The course may sound life-threatening, but it's really
not... if you can do the Grouse Grind or finish a 10K with something left,
you can complete the night run. Specifics at:

www.clubfatass.com/events/mardigras

The run is free for Club Fat Ass members and crew (anyone who helps out.)
Please register online and in advance if you'd like to join us.

'Looking forward to seeing you!
