Hi STORMY racers, vollies, and groupies!
_____________

TRAINING RUNS:

The STORMY training run schedule is about to begin.

Training Run #1 - Our first run covers the 14 km long, 3rd leg of the
course (Crumpet Woods). A car shuttle will depart from Brennan Park
main parking lot at 8 am sharp, Saturday, July 1.

Training Run #2 - Leg 1 of the course, 28 km, (Alice Lake). Meet at
Brennan Park, Saturday, July 22, 8 am

Training Run #3 - Leg 1 of the course, 22 km, (Nine Mile Hill). Meet at
Brennan Park, Saturday, July 29, 8 am

Please come prepared with all clothing, hydration, and nutrition that
you'll need for the complete distance.
_____________

VOLUNTEERS - WE LOVE YOU!:

We need over 40 race-day volunteers to make this epic event a success.
A list of race-day vollie positions, including the time required for
each position, is now available at www.stormytrailrace.ca .

If you're a participant in the event, please try to convince a friend,
family member, or someone who owes you a favour to volunteer and
support your big run! Not only do the vollies support the racers, but
all proceeds of the event go towards very-deserving Squamish-area
service organizations. Vollies will be thanked with a free STORMY shoe
bag, pre-assignment treats, post-race BBQ, and draw prize chances.
_____________

ON-LINE ENTRY IS AVAILABLE AGAIN:

The online entry system was down over the last 2 weeks. It is now
running again. Register early to guarantee a spot in either the solo or
relay event. The last day for registration is the Thursday before
race-Saturday.

SEA 2 SKY TRAIL RUNNING SERIES IN FULL SWING:

Last week's Comfortably Numb in Whistler was a sell out success. Race
#2 in the Series, Squamish Thunder 10-miler, goes on Sunday, July 15th.
Please come race, volunteer, or cheer! Further information at
www.s2srun.com
_____________

TRAIL CLEARING:

The brush is growing as only brush can do. Stay tuned for a couple of
volunteer trail clearing dates towards the beginning of August.
