YT 50/25 Km Update

A few of us ran the 25 Km loop on Sunday Jan 22nd in a counter clockwise
direction.

There was snow on the road from about the 6 km mark on road F to the 9 km
mark on

Road K . That's means we were running in snow for about 10 kms. The weather
on the

more exposed western side was pretty nasty with cold rain & wind. Come
prepared!

I've been getting a great response for this event. Please remember that it's
YOUR event so read the info below and abide by the rules. This is an
unorganized non-event so be low-key and respectful of other forest users
esp. in the parking area. It would be a good idea for us to park in the
south (further from the gate) parking area as we'll have too many vehicles
for the small paved lot. I'll be set up in there for sign-in. When you
complete your run please record your time on the clipboard which I'll leave
under the covered Mapboard right at the yellow gate. The post race event
will be at the Black Sheep Pub - if you're not there you'll miss the great
draw prizes!
