Happy New Year to all!

2006 marks the 6th year of the BC Ultra Trailrunning Series, sponsored by
Montrail and Endurance Nutrition. It was started in 2000 by Rob Lang, who
guided the Series through the first 3 formative years of it's existence. I
have been at the helm for the past 2 years, and it is now time for me to
pass the torch.

I am extremely pleased to announce that Bruce Grant has agreed to take over
the Directorship of the BC Ultra Trailrunning Series, effective immediately.
I'm sure that Bruce is familiar to most of you in the ultrarunning community
in BC and across Canada. He is an accomplished ultrarunner, and is on the
Montrail Canada team. This will be a big year for Bruce as he is also
tackling the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning this summer. I am quite confident
that he will do an excellent job with both his running races, and as the new
BCUTS Director.

Please join me in welcoming Bruce as the new Director. Thanks very much for
your support of the Series during my stewardship the past couple of years. I
know that Bruce will appreciate your continued support for the Series.
