Snagged from another running group:

Four runners go rock climbing one afternoon, a 100 meter Sprinter, a
5K specialist, a Marathoner, and an Ultra Runner. They had been
arguing all the way up the mountain about who among them was the most
"die-hard" runner.

Upon reaching the top of the mountain, the Sprinter proclaimed to the
other three... "This is for all the Sprinters!" and promptly threw
himself off the mountain as a form of sacrifice. Not to be outdone by
a Sprinter, the 5K runner jumped up and said... "This is for the
middle distance Runners!" and then threw himself off the mountain
again as a form of sacrifice.

Refusing to be outdone by the first two runners fans, the Ultra Runner
rose to his feet and yelled at the top of his lungs, "This is for all
the Ultra Runners!" and without hesitation, pushed the Marathoner off
the mountain.
