2005 Montrail BC Ultra Trailrunning Series   Message List

Hello fellow Ultra Trailrunners!

It's that time of year again - longer days and warmer weather can only mean
the Spring trail races are just around the corner. In fact, the first race
of this year's Series, The Dirty Duo, is just over 2 weeks away. Have you
signed up yet at www.dirtyduo.com ?

The same seven races are back in 2005, as we had last year. The race
schedule has been updated on the Web site at http://members.shaw.ca/bcuts/
(you may have to press the Ctrl key and F5 to refresh your browser and pick
up the updates).

Although all seven races continue on in the Series, we have seen a change in
RDs for 4 of the 7 races this year - Dirty Duo, Knee Knacker, STORMY, and
Walk In The Park. Many thanks to outgoing RDs Michael Wardas, Paul Cubbon,
and Nick Jordan for their many contributions to the races they directed. And
best of luck to new RDs Heather Macdonald, Kelsy Trigg, Wendy Montgomery &
Rich Rawling, and Chris Larouche. Here's hoping you get lots of helpful
volunteers and enthusiastic runners to all your races.

Have a look at all the races in the Series, and start getting your entries
in soon. As you may have heard, race #2 (Diez Vista) filled up in a matter
of days after entries were available at the start of the year. The entry
deadline for race #4 (Knee Knacker) is also fast approaching - March 15 is
less than a month away. Remember that you must participate in at least 3 of
the 7 races to be eligible for some great prizes at the end of the Series.
