Hi folks, As an FYI, City of Sammamish has shown an interest in developing a BMX or mountain bike skills park in the 30 acres that would get developed. Given...
Interesting. I wonder how much of that 30 acres they actually would dedicate to bike related activities. Perfect segue to:...

Thanks Tom...I'm figuring a lot of people on this list may never have had the unique pleasure of riding with Jack. Let's hope now that Peak Park is done he'll...

After a somewhat protracted absence from the bike, things were back to normal again last night. As we crossed over the bridge and turned onto the SRT, I...
I did a very quick search for soccer field size and parking standards. If Kevin's figures approximate ground truth, the 30 acres might yield 2 or 3 fields,...
This is the reply that I just received: Dear Mr. Stobin, Thank you for your November 1, 2007, e-mail sharing your concerns for the future of Soaring Eagle Park...
Wasn't Sims pretty much in charge of setting access to Cougar mountain, when that was being decided, if my aging memory serves me well. That worked out well...
I think we got kicked out of Cougar Mt before Sims was Co Executive, but maybe when he was first on the Council. Doubt he had much to do with it. This is...
... Bunk! I'm all for soccer fields. But as much as I love to play on a natural grass field it just doesn't make sense to spend the money and squander the...
OK, I never thought I'd actually say this, but... I'm starting to consider maybe just maybe adding a SS to my stable. That thread a few weeks ago about the...
The Singleator tensioners work fine, as does a cheap short cage roadie derailleur like a Shimano Sora. I've raced both setups with success. The derailleur...

Hi All; I'm heading down to Lake Sawyer in the morning; I'll be at the Black Diamond Bike Shop at 10:00AM. I'm going to park at the Bike shop. Please join me...

A very nice turnout of riders for the South Fork Skokomish ride. Was a little apprehensive about the weather forecast, but it turned out to be great...
Bwahahahahaha! Thanks for the morning laugh! I'd have an opinion if I'd ever actually ridden the Skoke. I guess I'll have to now... :) However, I'm off to ride...

Go down to Recycled Cycles and see if you can pawn them off down there, you should be able to pick up a little store credit with a frame and usable parts....
