I have been buying all my tires from Universal for the last four years.
Recently Mike (at Universal) talked me into trying Kenda tires instead of my
beloved Nokians and Continentals. He sent me a pair of Nevegals and they have
been awesome in loose over hardpack, roots and rocks. Last weekend I picked up
a pair of Kenda Cortez (listed at Crotez by Universal) Stick-E tires. A little
tighter tread pattern. Lower knobs and very sticky on rocks and roots. Plus,
they do shed mud much better than I would have thought.
Cheers,
Keith C.
