Owned and operated by Bay Area Disc Association, this group serves as the main mailing list for the Youth Division. This list is intended as THE main communication channel for Youth Ultimate activities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Youth Ultimate players in high school or middle school, parents, teachers and coaches are all encouraged to join this list to share information about playing and learning opportunities for boys and girls ages 8-18.

The Youth Division was founded in 2008 by Bay Area Disc Association. This list formerly operated under the name "Bay Area Youth Ultimate (BAYU)" and is still owned and operated by the same set of moderators.

We highly, highly encourage everyone participating in or organizing Youth Ultimate activities in the Bay Area and Northern California to not just join this list, but to bring in your other contacts, too. To sustain the rapid growth in Youth Ultimate we've seen since we started this list in 2005, we absolutely *must* consolidate communication channels and get every contact point in one place. And that place is right here!
