This Sunday, Richmond is hosting a USPSA 3gun match (minus the
shotgun/pistol)....we will be using the USPSA 3gun rules for the
match.
It is a 128 round course of fire, 220 yards to about 2 yards...we
will
be using bays 1-5 and the 220 yard range on the front side of the
range, next to the main range office. Everybody is welcome to stop by
and watch, it's interesting to see how much this is like shooting a
regular USPSA pistol match, except you get to use a rifle instead.
Two
shots on the paper, one on the steel, mandatory reloads, shooting
around barricades and through ports. We use paper targets for most of
the course, at 220 yards there will be some steel plates and in the
50
yard plus area, we will have some very small steel plates.
So if you've always wondered what one of these matches consist of,
please stop by anytime, we shoot from 9:30am till about 3:30pm.
If you have any questions email me (mikesousa@...) or Geoff
Linder, geofflinder@...
hope to see some of you there...
