6:30 P.M. - PLEASANT HILL, CALIFORNIA

PUBLIC MEETING ON THE TAHOE NAT'L FOREST DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT



Due to public demand in the Bay Area there will be a meeting held in
Pleasant Hill Wednesday Night to share information about the Tahoe NF
Draft Environmental Impact Statement, Representatives from the Tahoe
Nation Forest will be here. You will have a chance to review all of
the material and listen to the input from others. We all need to stand
up and be heard, we can make a difference in keeping our trails
open!!! Below is a copy of the information released on September 27,
2008 by Don Klusman. Please take a moment to go on the Tahoe Nat'l
Forest and review the DEIS information. www.fs.fed.us/r5/tahoe



Please pass this message around to other off road enthusiasts that
have an interest in keeping our trails open for OHV use. Ask them to
post the information on their bulletin boards and web sites and how
important it is for all of us to attend.

6:00: Sign in and map preview

6:30 Public Meeting: The public meeting will provide opportunities for
one-on-one discussions and questions. The meeting will be from
6:30-9:00 and will include presentations by the Forest Service and a
limited opportunity to ask questions. The purpose of these meetings
will be to share information about the document to make it easier for
the public to review. The public has until November 26, 2008 to send
comments on the DEIS.
