This is a good topic.
One of the issues in our school is that with class
sizes getting so big sometimes teachers make mistakes
in reporting daily attendance. Or sometimes they do
not take attendance for a day at all. This makes the
rules as such ineffective or up for debate--"I was
there, he marked me absent" or "I came in 1 minute
late but was marked absent for the entire period when
it should have been a tardy."
Very hard to decipher. I'll be interested in other
responses about this.
