I like the look of that coach, maybe you can help me with my dilemma for next season. I only return two quality players next year, one has been my leading scorer the last two years; can drive to the basket and shoots well from the outside. My own son, who is 6'5" is my only post player returning and does not have great ball handling skills or scoring instincts. I'll be surrounding them with a lot of young and inexperienced players. I do have two other returning players but I may have a hard time getting 5 players on the floor that have any real basketball skills. I'm considering some sort of single post set, any ideas?

Coach...
Take a look at this..... this is something we ran a lot of when I was coaching. I'm sure that there are many good ones out there also, especially in this group. Any questions feel free to ask.
Coaches, Last year when were in an important game and could not "catch" our opponent. With 7 minutes left to go and a 6 point lead, they ran an offense (we have no shot clock in Oregon that either forced us to foul perimeter players (one kid made 11-12 down the stretch) or allowed for easy penetration. This was not a delay game. This was an offense that patiently moved the ball between perimeter guards and then, when we were mismatched our out of position, they drove and most of the time were fouled. We ended up losing by 11 and our season was over.
Next year I would like to have something similar in my team's offensive package. Not a delay game. We have an offense that will protect the ball and often force a foul, but it is does not really pressure the defense. How about an offense that allows good ball/time control but still offers offensive opportunities via penetration?
I know that sounds like I just asked for a perfect offense, but there must be some low risk, clock control sets that still allow for some "offense."
