You got me again on this one. It's happened before that a runner
has scored from second on a sacrifice fly (I watched Ozzie Smith
score from second on a fly to center by Tom Herr in the 1982 World
Series). The unusual thing on this one was that two runs scored on
the fly. The last time this happened in the majors was May 8, 2001
when Alex Ochoa of the Reds knocked in two with a fly against the
Diamondbacks. The Twins are still trying to find out if they've
ever had a player with a two-run sacrifice fly.
