Ouch on the license. I was under the impression that the BDB License
was BSD-like. If this data is incorporated into the BDB, does this
license take precedence? If so, would BDB have to splinter into two
databases, one with and one without this data to prevent multi-licensing
problems?

Michael: Not sure what "BSD-like" means?! I don't THINK there is a problem here - as long as I give permission for this data to be incorporated into the BDB,...
... BSD stands for "Berkley System Distribution" and is most often referred to as the license that a team of researchers at the University of California...
