Barona Speedway's 17-race season begins Saturday night with a full
schedule of stock cars, 360/410 sprint cars and Dwarf cars on the
quarter-mile oval.
The dirt oval, located 4.8 miles northeast of the Barona Casino on
Wildcat Canyon road between Lakeside and Ramona, will run every other
Saturday night through the first week in November.
Street, factory and pony stock cars and the Dwarf cars will be part of
every program. Touring features include the 360/410 sprints, the 600cc
sprints and the IMCA modifieds.
Barona Speedway: Street, factory and pony stocks, 360/410 sprint cars,
Dwarf cars; practice and qualifying, 2:30 p.m., racing 5 p.m.
