The article helped a bit, but didn't fully address the problems I'm having.  The feet that I'm trimming are so much worse than those. I'll have to post pictures for you to see. There is complete separation at the toe...basically air space all the way up inside.  There is no toe to trim back like the strasser trimmer did to that foot, because there's no lamellar wedge...it's just open air. The hoof has completely delaminated from the lamina and there's just outer hoof wall, dead laminae and inner hoof wall.  The little sucker runs around all over though.  If it was a horse they'd have all four feet in the air ready to die!  I appreciate putting the article up. It did help somewhat.
