Having problems with message search?
Thanks Don. I really can't believe how great this guy is doing. I know there will most likely be ups and downs, but he really is coming around much faster than I'd expect. I'm very glad the owners are willing to give him the time needed to recover. They don't mind if he has to sit for a while and I think they decided to try him out because he was walking well in the pasture. He was fairly sore today when I brought him up to the gate where my stuff was, but after the trim he was better. I think getting rid of the excess sole helped take some of the pressure off the bottoms. I am looking forward to seeing him progress. Now if I could just get my foundered donkeys in the same shape. Unfortunately, those owners won't take them off grass so that problem is going to go on forever I think.
