Gary,

Maybe it's the rough coat or coat color but she didn't look that thin
to me. I see muscling in her hindquarters. I can't SEE the ribs in
the photo. <g> She has fuzzy hair covering those ribs on the side
shown in the photo. You have the advantage of feeling! LOL! The
photo isn't of your cresty necked mare but of the horse belonging to
someone else. Photos aren't the same as being able to see the animal
in person.
