Well we have had abcesses in both feet again, so the past couple of
days haven't been the best. But our boy is still trying hard to keep
walking forward. I know its a good sign, but it does make you
depressed when you see him in pain again.
I have posted the latest photos ( taken today ) I noticed that there
was a crease on the side of his foot, which seems to have gone now.
Didn't realise that could happen! We took as much out of the bars as
we could, but the feet started to get spongy so we stopped. We rasped
the toe back a short way as you can see in the photo. We have been
soaking in ACV every 2 or 3 days, which does seem to help.
I am crossing my fingers that we have done a better job this time, he
definately feels better than he did before ( even with the abcesses).
You will not believe how relieved I was when I saw your drawings on
the photos and compared them with his latest trim, as I think we were
almost there ( still crossing fingers !!!!! )
The vet is due again on Tue 10th, but do you think I should rasp the
heels before then? The new photos show 12 days growth, as the last
trim was 23rd Jan.
