| Hiya everyone. Professional Roller Games skaters lend their support to Team UTAC (Until Theres A Cure) AIDS Life Cyclist. Check it out: On Wednesday, May 13th, from 7:30-10:30 pm, Team UTAC (Until Theres A Cure) will be rolling around the Rollerway Skating Rink 5100 San Fernando Road Glendale So dress in your Disco Getup or come as you please. Adults $15, kids $10. Plus professional roller derby skaters from the Los Angeles Thunderbird era ('60's, '70's, '80s & ''90s) will be joining us, lending us their support. So chances are if you've watched KTLA's Channel 5 Roller Game Of The Week, you'll see quite a few of those former professional derby skaters during the night. Bring your cameras and take photos with your favorite white shirt (good guy-home team) or red shirt (bad guy-visiting team skater) as they share their expertise knowledge on roller derby and skating. The likes of Gwen "Skinnie-Mini" Miller, "Sweet" Stephanie Garcia, "Ms" Georgia Hase, Patsy "Latin Hellcat" Delgado, Karmi "Sugar" Thompson, Gail "Bow Wow" Bowers, "Big" Bernie Jackson, "Mean" EG Miller, Tony "El Tigre" Trujillo, "Furious" George Padilla, Andrew Taylor, David Gerry, Jo'na Sequell amongst other pro skaters promise to show us their support. And we've sent out an invitation to Channel 7's Robert Holguin to cover our skating fundraiser. He's a big roller derby fan so he may come out too. There are plenty of raffle prizes.
