Alexa Steele and other Eutyls for getting this organized for both the New and
Old School
Eutyls crowds and anyone else living in or travelling in the area at these

After such a successful event last month, we thought we'd do it again! Same
drill. Here's essentially a repeat of last month's message:

At long last the details for our second-ever (potentially monthly now) Midcoast
Hat Tourney are here! And here they are:

Location: Camden/Rockport Middle School, 34 Knowlton Street, Camden, Maine.[

Time: 10 am - 4 pm.

Cost: No cost! But donations towards BBQ costs will be appreciated.

BRING A HAT! (in all seriousness). We'll pick teams for the day as our first
order of business, and then continue on to play a Round-Robin format tourney.
We'll have a barbecue at lunchtime, and have decided to make this a totally free
event, so
please be generous with your donations at the chow-line.

Hats must be worn at all times during play - if your hat falls off, this
mitigates a turnover. It is a hat tournament, after all. Extra-ridiculous hats
will be extra-appreciated.

Anyone with questions about anything or who wants to help with the barbecuing
(or if you can bring food or another grill) please contact Danji (me) at

Tremuloides discs and shirts will also be available for purchase.

Spread the word! This is a totally free and public event for all levels of
players, especially those who no nothing about the sprt and have never played
before! More than anything this tourneys goals are fun, spirit, and outreach, so
by all means
invite everyone you know. And tell them to bring a hat too.

For the Camden Pick-Uppers - this tourney will take the place of pickup for the
day.

WOMEN VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! PLEASE HELP IF YOUR SCHEDULE ALLOWS. Please

people who want to discover Ultimate Frisbee. Never played before? No
problem, all levels of ability welcome. Participants will learn basic
throws, offensive and defensive skills through drills and games. Each
participant should bring a water bottle and will receive a frisbee and
a T-shirt.

Grades: 5 - 9
Dates: July 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th
Time: 6pm - 8pm

Hello All
Just wanted to say that we have been getting pretty good turnout on the past 3
Sundays with 6's, and 7's with subs.  Some highlights from the past few weeks:

	 1) Some local middle school folks have started playing disc with us... they
have game
	 2) Jonah Roberts (5 years old) has some serious game..
		 Steve Peary has trained the Jedi well
	 3) Many Eutyls past and present have played as have current Frozen Fury folks
	 4) A group of old summer leaguers and Old School folks have played
	 5) Joe Locke's friends have come out (the whole family) and they got serious
game

If you have not come and checked out the game, please drop by!  Bring a friend
interested in playing!  This Sunday, there is a Coed 5-2 (hopefully 4-3) Youth
Ultimate tourney at Broadway Park from 10am to 4pm.  Anyone is welcome to come
and play.
There will be a grill going.  Sunday Ultimate at 14th St. School is still going
on... folks might be trickling in a bit late from Broadway Park..

Supporters of Maine Youth Ultimate
PLEASE FORWARD TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY YOUTH ULTIMATE FOLKS YOU THINK MAY BE
INTERESTED IN ATTENDING.
A 5-2 (hopefully 4-3 gender ratio) COED 3-4 team round robin tourney will be
held at Broadway Park with the following teams consisting of the following core
groups of folks:
1) Bangor Eutyls
2) Farmington
3) Camden Hills/Watershed
All 3 teams would welcome any Maine Youth Ultimate folks and others interested
in picking up with any team. If there is enough interest and folks showing up,
we could add a 4th "Mixed Plate" team no problem.
College folks and those from the Old School when folks used to play with
Wham-O's and Stone Age Frisbees (wooden, stone, birchbark, etc.) will be
distributed evenly between teams.
ONE FIELD = ROUND ROBIN WITH 3-4 TEAMS.

Nope... Belfast is ON!!

There is disc in Belfast on Wednesday's at 5:30 p.m. Weıre playing at the
softball field that's on the Bank of America campus. Anyone is welcome!

Hello Ultimate Folks!
Just a friendly reminder that we are playing Ultimate at the 14th Street School
in Bangor behind the main school building this Sunday, May 20th, 4-6:30pm.  It
looks like the weather will clear just in time for the game!  Based on replies
from
announcing this event on Facebook, it looks like there will be a good number of
folks there!  See you all then!

playing Ultimate in Bangor this summer on Sundays, 4pm starting May 20, 2007 and
going to late August.  All folks are welcome to come play in this casual pick-up
game at
the 14th Street School in Bangor, where there will be a kids playground right on
site and a little further away, the Stephen King entertainment and pool
googleplex...

We have gotten a pretty good response from folks that want to play!  However,
now we need folks to get folks they know to come out and play.  This game is
supportive of folks that live in the greater Bangor area that have never played
Ultimate
