Maine Youth Ultimate has been working with local organizations to present the
following Summer Camps and Clinics (Please contact the associated host
organizations if you are interested in volunteering to help teach Maine Youth
how to throw the disc
and play Ultimate AND PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO FOLKS YOU THINK WOULD BE INTERESTED
IN THEIR KIDS HAVING A GREAT TIME AT THESE CAMPS AND CLINICS.. sorry MYU folks

1) Tuesday, June 26, 9:30-11am
PARKSIDE COED ULTIMATE SUMMER CAMP

Teach Ultimate to kids ages 5-8 at Parkside Children's Learning Center in
Bangor, Maine. Basic throws taught especially with the forehand grip for first
20-30 minutes. Ultimate game with break for 60-70 minutes. Please drop by and
help teach
Ultimate to the next generation! ALSO, PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO INTERESTED FOLKS
AND IF THEY ARE INTERESTED, PARENTS CAN REGISTER KIDS THROUGH PARKSIDE.

2) Thursdays, June 28 and July 5 and 12, 3:30-5pm
OLD TOWN ORONO YMCA COED ULTIMATE SUMMER CAMP

Experienced Ultimate player volunteers (like you!) are needed to teach middle
school and high school folks who have never played Ultimate before how to throw
the backhand, forehand, high hammer, scoober, blade, overhead, and McFloughan
and how to
play the game we know as Ultimate (not that game with the dogs). BOTH MEN AND
WOMEN VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! PLEASE HELP IF YOUR SCHEDULE ALLOWS. Please
register (COST = $0) with Carl Crawford, Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, at Old
Town/Orono YMCA
(Old Town/Orono YMCA needs to run a background check if you volunteer).

3) Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 9, 11, 16, and 18, 6-8pm
CUMBERLAND ULTIMATE YOUTH ULTIMATE CLINICS

Cumberland Ultimate will be hosting a series of clinics geared for
people who want to discover Ultimate Frisbee. Never played before? No
problem, all levels of ability welcome. Participants will learn basic
throws, offensive and defensive skills through drills and games. Each
participant should bring a water bottle and will receive a frisbee and
a T-shirt.

Grades: 5 - 9
Dates: July 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th
Time: 6pm - 8pm
Location: Greely Middle School Fields
Cost: $20
