Subject: International Exhibition on Engineering & Technology organized by
Mechanical Engineering Department, BUET, during December 28-30, 2005.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering of BUET has been organizing an
international conference every two years since 1995. In the continuation, the
6th of its kind will be held during December 28-30, 2005. The international
conference on mechanical engineering (ICME2005, Dhaka December 28-30) will
provide a wider platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and research
activities focussing the recent technological advancements in various fields
of mechanical engineering.

The benefits of all the engineering and technological advancements would not
reach the end users without the active participation of all those who make
the bridge between the researchers, designers, manufacturers, and the
entrepreneurs. Keeping this in mind we have been arranging exhibition along
with the conference in the past. This year also we are organizing an
international exhibition onEngineering and Technology, which
will be held
at BUET campus during 28-30 Dec. 2005 along with the conference. This
exhibition will open opportunities to demonstrate your products and services
that you are producing/marketing in Bangladesh and abroad and to interact
closely with businessmen, investors, entrepreneurs, equipment manufacturers,
job seekers and the like.

Also in its closing session, experts from home and abroad will discuss
various problems faced by the industrial entrepreneurs and finally some
recommendations will be made for the policy makers. This forum will
facilitate your professional development in future.

We are keen to accommodate all those who are interested to participate in the
exhibition. For this you are requested you to contact us within November 23,
2005. This would also help us to compose the brochure on this international
exhibition where a list of the participating organi!zationswould be included
and circulated among all the participants from home and abroad.
