Re: [bakersfieldtrackclub] Alcoholic Beverages at Hart Park

...one helpful hint from a friendly runner on Turkey Day to others in the park,
"get high on endorphins after a long run, then drink beer out of gatorade bottles to fool the park rangers"... note: drive home responsibly with a designated driver... gobble gobble safely!!!

Oh yeah!!!!!!!  Those park rangers, having little else to occupy their time on Thanksgiving morning, would have a field day writing citations for you rowdy, good-for-nothing, alcoholic rabble-rousing BTC members. All kidding aside, one might want to be very careful with this.  A citation IS a citation and, as I said, they have little else to do on that particular morning.................

Just a reminder for those who want to drink alcohol they must obtain an
alcohol permit from the Kern County Parks and Recreation Department at
1110 Golden State Avenue Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. The cost of the
permit is $10 and it is for up to 8 - 10 people per permit. Those mean
Rangers would prefer that everyone have a permit if they are going to
drink any alcohol at Hart Park or Lake Ming. LOL
