downtown
Our 2009 event brings something new: An 8k Fun-Run!
The run course will follow a similar route to those of past years only runners
will start before the Walkers/Rollers on an extended course.
The
Walk/Roll route is the same fully accessible 2.8 mile path as past years.
Lunch is served as part of your admission and is provided
this year by Pizza Schmizza. We'll have more activities for the kids as well as
mom and dad. This is a family friendly event for everyone!
This
event once again supports our under-funded Family Support program that touches
the lives of nearly 800 families all across Oregon & SW Washington. Each
month we receive dozens of calls from families and young adults looking for
answers, resources and hope. Your support of Walk 'n' Roll helps ensure we
raise the $80,000 needed to keep this vital program alive.
Dogs are
welcome at the event this year; please clean up after your pet. However,
bicycles are discouraged on the routes. Thank you for complying.
