The drills are good. the sideways foot comes from stability in a muddy place.
the foot is sideways for stability and when in lunge the knee is over the toes
to prevent slippage .
I do teach the foot with the toes froward on the rear leg as to increase
mobility. the drill are almost the same as highland broadsword the difference
would be that we would not cover the leg on he shift back. also the use of
cyrillic script? heck we talk Karate with out Kanji.
